Composition & description

Jojoba oil is in fact a liquid wax. Its composition is very different from that of other oils and is similar to that of human sebum. It is composed of more than 80% of moisturizing monounsaturated fatty acids (including gadoleic fatty acid: about 75% and erucic acid: about 15%). It also contains ceramides.

Properties

Regulates sebaceous production, moisturises, protects (climate, UV, skin ageing), anti-ageing, calming, soothing.
Because of its composition close to human sebum, jojoba wax/oil is a powerful regulator of sebum; it is therefore suitable for all skin types and is indicated for the treatment of oily and/or acne-prone skin, for which it will help to regulate sebum production. It promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin and restores the skin's hydrolipidic film. It is also the ally of dry and sensitive skin. It is a versatile oil that can be used on the face, body and hair (especially to treat oily hair).
It is a very fluid oil that does not leave a greasy film on the skin.
